Happy Valentine's Day

Posted by Happy Homemaker UK

Posting a few Valentine-inspired gifts that would be great anytime of year :)

Available from Decorative Country Living

This handmade lavender heart is made of vintage fabric with customized initial. Love it :)

See this cutie-pie owl?
I smile at this expression my sister uses occasionally

Available from Vicinity Studio

Ready to experience my first spring in England, I'm on a big garden kick. This is perfect:

Available from Harrod Horticultural

A heart-shaped hand trowel. Can you stand it?!

I leave you with this sweet-as-pie DIY project from Modern Country Style

As a Valentine's Day gift to her husband, Sarah stamped the year and place of their wedding.
Clever, yet simple. A wonderful keepsake, don't you think?

Happy Valentines Day, dear reader
Sending you the love!

These are gorgeous. I do need you to stop posting such things as I think it's going to result in me buying a sewing maching;)

I really like that trowel - it could even tempt me to do some weeding. The rain in Brisbane has been 'very kind' to the weeds!
Happy spring and valentines day to you Laura. x

Ahh beautiful. Love the Lavender hearts (I'm still waiting for the February issue of Country Living to hit these shores!!! Enjoy Spring in Blighty... This will be my first Spring in a while that I've not been back, so I'm horribly homesick at the moment. I'll rely on you to post pictures to tide me over! Lx

You're a cutie patootie (my new American phrase!!).

And a very Happy Valentine's Day to you too.

I would have to wonder if my husband would even recognise the year or place of our marriage!
He has, as always, just made me my first coffee of the morning though ... I think I'll keep him.

Sorry, this comment is a bit late for this post... but I just had to write when I saw that cutesy owl card. I occasionally say "all that and a bag of chips" - a phrase I learned in high school and it always stuck with me. If my hubby hears me say it, he looks at me like I'm from another planet... I'll be showing him this card!!! :)
