I just burst out laughing. We're used to clothes banks and shoes banks, but I've never seen a bra bank before!
I think the bra recycling schemes are a great idea! But why oh why does EVERYTHING to do with being a woman have to be PINK these days? I find it very irritating.

I love the BLUE shoe bank next to the PINK bra bank...imagine a pink shoe bank?
Just saw a shoe recycling bin at the shoe store last week - thought that was a great idea. My kids dumped off their old shoes and left the store wearing new ones.

Wow, I had no idea anyone would want to recycle bras! How funny.
Too funny --- and not at all subtle! My husband calls that color "pepto bismal" pink.
A lingerie shop here offers a $15 credit those who bring in a used bra, and then they donate the bras to charity.
Never seen a bra bank before! Love the No Entry sign too, very creative! So nice to get a giggle before I start my day :-)

M. y niece of Robynnes nest put me on to you. I KEEP IN TOUCH WITH HER THRU HER BLOG. I laughed at your description of the visit to the dentist. I lived in London from 1952-1955 and evidently Dentistry has not gone ahead. I LIVE IN MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA. I am 83 years old so do not get around like I would like so enjoy reading blogs from people like you who find many things about theEnglish strange .Being British ( until I was about 40) made many of the things you mention not strange to us, but we did think a lot of the English rather eccentric. Hi Laura! Same sticker added sign we have also in Islington, London. I also saw two in Paris. And now with your photo in Roma, it's in three countries at least. Bests.
