Gardens in England
are at their most gorgeous right now
with their first summer blossoms of the season
These photos are from our village fundraiser garden tour,
private homes opening their gardens to the public
See the orange oriental poppy peeking out?
My neighbor recently called it a 'floppy poppy'
which made me laugh

Gorgeous...gorgeous! England is 'bloomin beautiful'! Robx
I always like the smell of lupins. They're not sweet but they remind me of when I used to play in my grandmother's garden.
It is the same here in Germany! Gorgeous!
Summer gardens in England.........one of the glories of this country..
Lovely gardens. Had to have been fun visiting them all.

buona giornata...ciao
Oh how I miss my English garden. Sigh.
The Brits do know how to garden.
Thanks for this lovely post! I SO miss the English gardens. It's one of the few things that I am very nostalgic for. Picnic's on the the grass after it's been freshly mown ~ delicious. English grass is soft and wispy, Florida grass is too spiky to sit on, not to mention crawling with ants and other bugs ~ yuk. Although i do love living in the sunshine State! I'm sure I'll adapt...eventually... hugs, Sally xx
so beautiful!
Nothing like England in June!
How pretty! More, more, more!
LOVE the color! June is my favorite month in the garden!

Lovely photos! The gardens in the UK are definitely something that I love!
Oh how I dream of a garden like that so pretty, I will have to work a lot harder.
I love English country gardens but doubt that surprises you Laura!
Just beautiful photos :)
Thank you so much for stopping by and welcome to my blog!!
German gardens, homes, villages and towns too are at their best in summer with geraniums flowing out of every window and flowers saying hello to you from all over!! I like the look of the English gardens you have pictured in your post, though some flowers look completely new to me.
Really loved the first photo - the colours are fab!
